Daysy helps you to plan by letting you know when it's the right time
Would you like to have a baby and want to plan a pregnancy ? And do you not just want to wait for it to finally work out, but help it along with natural means? Then the fertility tracker Daysy is the right support for you. Daysy makes a quick and simple calculation to determine on which days you are fertile and when you are ovulating. With Daysy, finding the right time for conception is easy.
Did you know that you can only get pregnant during a few days of your cycle? These are the days of your ovulation and up to five days before, because your partner's sperm can wait for the egg inside your body for a couple of days. Only through unprotected sex during this short interval is there a chance for a pregnancy. Knowing when this interval takes place will help you along immensely in planning your pregnancy.
There are several methods to calculate your fertile days, and they can also be combined. The classic methods of natural family planning deliver a good result, but they require time-intensive commitment and practice. Daysy takes this work off your shoulders and saves you a lot of time. With Daysy, planning a pregnancy is simple and comfortable.
How to plan a pregnancy with Daysy?
Daysy caluclates for you when you are on your fertile window and can plan a pregnancy. All you have to do is take your basal temperature every morning before you get out of bed by taking the protective cap off Daysy's test prod and placing it underneath your tongue. After about 60 seconds you will hear a signal indicating that the measurement is over. Then Daysy might ask you to confirm that you currently have your period via the push of a button. And that's it! Right away, Daysy displays your fertile status for the current day with a colorful light. Thanks to its highly developed and proven algorithm, it does so with very high accuracy!
If you see a green light, it means that you are not currently fertile and cannot get pregnant. A red light means that it’s time for romance: You are fertile and can conceive a baby. On some days, Daysy will display a yellow light. That means that Daysy still has to get to know your cycle a little better, or that your cycle is currently irregular. Just treat yellow days like red days and use them to boost your chances for conception. The number of yellow days will be higher when you first start to use Daysy, because Daysy still has to get to know you. After two to three months, you will be seeing fewer yellow days.
Planning a pregnancy - enjoying time with your partner
If you are trying to get pregnant , make sure not to put too much pressure on yourself. Even when you regularly have sex on your fertile days, it can take months to get pregnant. That is absolutely normal and nothing to be concerned about. If you have doubts, consult your gynaecologist for advice. Doctors usually advise to keep trying to get pregnant for six to twelve months before taking additional measures. It is possible to plan a pregnancy, but it cannot be forced. With Daysy, the right timing will no longer be an issue – and it’s all about the right timing.
What if timing is particularly difficult? If you work during different hours of the day, live in separate apartments or have irregular routines? Daysy's free app DaysyDay lets you see a preview of next month’s cycle. This will let you know in advance when you will be fertile and lets you plan your activities accordingly. But here too applies that planning a pregnancy is supposed to be fun and should not turn into stress. Enjoy the time with your partner and make enough time for each other. As soon as your plan works out, and after nine months you finally hold your new baby in your arms, nothing in your life will ever be the same.
